The Department of Dermatology at Rush University Medical Center is seeking a full-time General Dermatologist with interest in cosmetic procedures to join its faculty at Rush’s new multidisciplinary ambulatory center, Rush South Loop. Qualified candidates will have completed an ACGME accredited Dermatology Residency and be board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Dermatology. Candidates will have a faculty rank commensurate with experience. Competitive salary and benefits package available.
Areas of expertise in the department include: connective tissue disease, immune bullous diseases, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, pigmented lesions, skin cancer, cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, urticaria and mastocytosis. The candidate will be expected to provide clinical care as well as actively participate in the departmental academic programs, including, but not limited to: teaching of Dermatology residents and medical students, participation in grand rounds and journal clubs as well as pursue research interests.
Rush University Medical Group is a multidisciplinary group of about 1,500 providers, clinical staff and administrators who deliver state-of-the-art, patient-centric medical care to the communities we serve. RUMG’s South Loop clinic, located on Michigan Avenue at 14th Street, will provide primary and specialty care services, and is expected to open in 2018. The 41,498-square-foot facility will feature an innovative exam room and work space layout, full imaging capabilities and a demonstration kitchen, among other features designed to enhance the patient and provider experience.
