Health Psychologist (Geriatric & Rehabilitation Psychology)
The Department of Behavioral Sciences at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago is looking to fill a Health Psychology Faculty position in the section of Geriatric & Rehabilitation Psychology. This position includes evaluation and intervention in the rehabilitation program at Rush, clinical teaching and research responsibilities, and opportunities to work in other settings across the medical center. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional clinician, have experience in core health psychology skills (pain management, treatment adherence, adjustment to illness), demonstrate high potential and motivation for academic scholarship and research, and have a Ph.D. in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited program; must be license-eligible in Illinois. We anticipate hiring at the Assistant Professor level, but candidates at higher rank with exceptional research and funding records are strongly encouraged to apply. The department has a highly supportive atmosphere, following a clinical scientist model, and Chicago offers an exciting backdrop for living.
