Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges, located in downtown Chicago, invites applications for the position of Adult Psychiatrist.

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Rush University Medical Center is recruiting a full-time academic clinical faculty member for a position in our Adult Outpatient Clinics, including the RUSH Center for Clinical Wellness, with potential for a role on the inpatient units.  This position offers academic rank and salary commensurate with experience.  Eligible candidates should be American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology board certified or eligible and possess a strong clinical background with a broad range of behavioral health disorders.  Candidates should have a passion for academic medicine and education.  The candidate will supervise and teach residents, medical students and other trainees affiliated with Rush University.  Additional opportunities to pursue an active role in the Medical College, Residency Training, and Department of University Administration are available.

To better support the Rush community, the candidate will work closely with RUSH Wellness psychotherapists and other team members within a collaborative care environment and help inform RUSH Wellness research, programming, services, and resources. At a pivotal time for addressing the well-being of frontline health workers and learners across the country, this position offers the opportunity to influence the future of healthcare. As a member of RUSH Wellness, this role will have opportunity to practice within the brand-new Rush Center for Clinical Wellness: a state-of-the-art facility custom-designed to improve the wellness of all occupants.
