Hospital owned multi-specialty group seeks advanced practice providers to provide all aspects of care in busy, established Oncology and Maternal Fetal Medicine clinics. These include chronic conditions, well care and acute care to patients in a cost-effective manner with a focus on quality outcomes. The APP acts as a role model to facilitate and enhance the development of quality nursing care through evidence based practice.

The group admits patients to Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, Illinois.  Rush Copley Medical Group includes nearly 160 providers in over 20 specialties serving patients throughout the Fox Valley area.  Rush Copley is part of Rush University System for Health (RUSH), an academic health system whose mission is to improve the health of the individuals and the diverse communities it serves through the integration of outstanding patient care, education, research and community partnerships. The Rush system comprises Rush University Medical Center (including Rush University), Rush Copley Medical Center and Rush Oak Park Hospital, as well as numerous outpatient care facilities.

Position Requirements:

Nurse Practitioner:

  • Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Registered Professional Nurse and Advance Practice Nurse.
  • Masters of Science in Nursing with clinical specialty appropriate to position.
  • Current certification by American Nurse Credentialing Center or American Academy of Nurse Practitioner.
  • Maintains State of Illinois and Federal DEA license.
  • Must maintain Copley Memorial Hospital clinical privileges, if applicable
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience with 2 years of experience in area of clinical specialty.
  • CPR certification. 
  • Excellent communication skills.

Physician Assistant:

  • Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Physician Assistant.
  • Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current certification from National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
  • Must maintain Copley Memorial Hospital clinical privileges, if applicable
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience with 2 years of experience in area of clinical specialty.
  • CPR certification
  • Excellent communication skills.
