The Department of Diagnostic Radiology at Rush University Medical Center is seeking to hire a full-time fellowship trained Cardiothoracic Radiologist to join our growing and dynamic division. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible. Primary responsibilities include adult chest radiographs, lung cancer screening studies and cardiothoracic CT and MRI.
The Department consists of 28 subspecialized radiologists and three physicists and maintains an excellent long-term relationship with referring clinicians and hospital administration. The division actively participates in tumor board, interstitial lung disease, cardiology, cardiovascular surgery and pulmonary and critical care conferences. The selected candidate will work closely with radiology residents, fellows, and medical students from Rush Medical College and collaborate professionally and academically with professionals from thoracic surgery, oncology, pulmonology, cardiology, radiation oncology, and cardiovascular surgery services. Research experience or interest is encouraged. There is an opportunity for academic time for research activity. The position will cover in-/outpatient imaging and participate in multidisciplinary conferences, teaching, research publications, hospital committees, and quality initiatives.
