The Department of Dermatology at Rush University Medical Center is seeking a full-time General Dermatologist with interest in cosmetic procedures to join its faculty at Rush’s new ambulatory center in Oak Brook, IL. Qualified candidates will have completed an ACGME accredited Dermatology Residency and be board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Dermatology. Candidates will have a faculty rank commensurate with experience. Competitive salary and benefits package available.

Areas of expertise in the department include:  connective tissue disease, immune bullous diseases, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, pigmented lesions, skin cancer, cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, urticaria and mastocytosis. The candidate will be expected to provide clinical care as well as actively participate in the departmental academic programs, including, but not limited to: teaching of dermatology residents and medical students, participation in grand rounds and journal clubs as well as pursue research interests.

The Rush Oak Brook Outpatient Center is scheduled to open January 2019 and will feature a multispecialty, state-of-the-art outpatient surgery center; 65 exam rooms for patients; physical and occupational therapy; a laboratory; and full imaging services, including MRI, X-ray and CT imaging as well as a comprehensive breast imaging program with ultrasound and bone densitometry. The 100,000-square-foot facility is a joint venture with Midwest Orthopedics at Rush.

Rush University Medical Group continues to grow rapidly both on the hospital campus and in the community, with new outpatient facilities scheduled to come on line each year through 2020. These state-of-the-art facilities will allow us to deliver patient care across a wider region, improving access for our current patients and enabling us to bring academic medicine to more people in our new and existing communities.
