The Rush Lung Center at Rush University Medical Center is seeking an Interventional Pulmonologist to join its growing, multi-disciplinary team focused on developing a destination program for lung care.
Rush is a regional leader in the treatment of lung cancer and home to one of the top thoracic surgery programs in the nation. Rush’s comprehensive lung cancer program includes a weekly multi-disciplinary chest tumor conference, an established lung cancer screening program and a dedicated nodule clinic. The successful candidate will become an integrated member of this team and take advantage of fully equipped bronchoscopy suites and procedure rooms to facilitate the expansion of our interventional pulmonology program. In partnership with Tempus, Rush is home to one of the largest lung tissue biorepositories and is well positioned to accelerate critical lung cancer research in the coming years. The Rush Lung Center is leveraging these strengths to continue to develop additional programs for benign lung disease across the system.
Qualified candidates must have completed a minimum of one year of interventional pulmonary fellowship training and be BC/BE in pulmonary medicine/critical care medicine. Candidates must possess a strong commitment to patient care, resident education and research.
