Rush University Medical Center Dermatology is seeking a full-time Mohs Surgeon to join its team as the Director of Dermatological Surgery. Qualified candidates will have completed an ACGME accredited Dermatology Residency and an ACMS approved Fellowship.
Rush Dermatology serves a diverse patient population throughout the Chicagoland area. We have five clinical locations, including our main campus, River North, and South Loop locations in Downtown Chicago, as well as sites in Oak Brook and Oak Park, IL. As a regional and national leader in healthcare, oncology, and transplant services, Rush has a wide referral network for cutaneous oncology to support a robust dermatological surgery practice.
At Rush University Medical Center, the successful candidate will lead a growing surgery practice and have the opportunity to work collaboratively with clinical leaders in ENT, Medical Oncology, Plastic Surgery, and Surgical Oncology. The candidate will lead the relocation of Dermatologic Surgery to the new Joan and Paul Rubschlager Building, a state-of-the-art destination center for cancer care, slated to open in 2023.
The candidate will actively participate in the Dermatology academic program, including teaching of Dermatology residents and medical students. Clinical research opportunities are available. The development of an ACGME accredited Mohs fellowship will be supported.
Rush Dermatology fosters a collaborative atmosphere with clinical expertise in multiple areas of dermatology. Multidisciplinary conferences, academic sessions with invited speakers, and faculty promotions are available.
