The Department of Dermatology at Rush University Medical Center is seeking a full-time Mohs Surgeon to join its team at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Qualified candidates will have completed an ACGME accredited Dermatology Residency and an ACMS approved Fellowship and be board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Dermatology.
The successful candidate will join a growing surgery practice and become a faculty member in the Department of Dermatology. Areas of expertise in the Department include: connective tissue disease, immune bullous diseases, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, pigmented lesions, skin cancer, cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, mastocytosis and hidradenitis suppurativa. The candidate will be expected to provide clinical care as well as actively participate in the departmental academic programs, including but not limited to teaching of Dermatology residents and medical students and participation in grand rounds and journal clubs. Clinical research opportunities are also available.

The Division of Dermatology at Rush University Medical Center consists of 11 faculty members. The Division of Dermatology is a clinically oriented division and has been an integral part of the core mission of Rush University Medical Center. It continues to contribute to clinical excellence, education, quality improvement, patient safety and clinical research. Faculty with unique clinical areas of expertise such as mast cell disorders and melanoma surveillance constitute a real strength of the department.
