The Department of Neurological Sciences at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago is seeking a full-time Neuropsychiatrist to join its team. The Psychiatrist would have expertise in Neurology and work in the clinical realm, including research. This position would span across several of the neurologic fields including movement disorders, epilepsy, stroke, and would provide mostly depression and anxiety care, with some other psychiatric areas including hallucinations, delusions, and more. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience. Opportunities for participation in research and other academic or administrative functions may be available depending on candidates’ background and experience.

The Rush Department of Neurological Sciences is a large academic department with more than 100 faculty, spanning across neurologic specialties, giving the opportunity for the MS Center to collaborate with other neurology specialists.   Rush has made a commitment to significantly grow the neuroscience program and footprint regionally and nationally, including with a new ambulatory building scheduled to open in 2022.
