Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges, located in downtown Chicago, invites applications for non-invasive & advanced imaging cardiology positions in the Division of Cardiology.


Positions are available at the Medical Center main campus, South Loop, Rush Oak Park and Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in outpatient and inpatient settings. Candidates must have an outstanding record of commitment to clinical service, teaching and collaborative work style.  Qualified applicants must have an MD or equivalent degree, hold or be eligible for an IL medical license and be board certified in cardiology and echocardiography. In addition to non-invasive cardiology candidates, we are also seeking advanced imaging cardiologists with formal fellowship training and board certification/eligibility in cardiovascular MRI and CT. Comprehensive care for treating and preventing heart disease includes: general cardiology services, Chicago’s first dedicated center for women’s heart care, early detection and screening programs, outpatient chest pain center, advanced techniques in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery, a state-of-the-art interventional cardiology program for non-invasive cardiology services, comprehensive electrophysiology with arrhythmia and pacemaker services, adult congenital, cardiooncology, cardionutrition, cardiometabolic clinic, cardiorheumatology and specialized treatment and follow-up care for people at all stages of heart failure and its complication and clinical research, evaluating new medicines, devices and procedures in heart care. Rush heart patients benefit from the availability of the most advanced diagnostic techniques in heart care today.
