Rush University is seeking faculty members for our College of Nursing, which is currently ranked #18 out of 552 graduate nursing schools by U.S. News & World Report’s Top Health School rankings, including five specialties ranked in the top 6. In this role, you will contribute to the mission of the college by integrating the roles of teacher, researcher, clinician, and leader. The faculty portion will be negotiated with the respective Department Chairperson, based on the needs of the Department, as well as on your expertise and interest. Opportunities are available in Adult Health & Gerontological Nursing, Community, Systems & Mental Health Nursing, Women, Children and Family Nursing and Nurse Anesthesia.

To qualify, candidates must possess a minimum of a Master’s degree in Nursing and maintain national specialty certification, as appropriate. Candidates must have current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Illinois, have licensure in another state with the ability to acquire Illinois licensure, or if working remotely, have current RN licensure in their state of residence. Candidates will be eligible for a faculty appointment, commensurate with their experience and accomplishments in Rush College of Nursing.
