Organ Donor Care Center Lead Advanced Practice Provider

*Minimum of three years of experience in Transplant, or other related specialty, required. APRN candidates must hold acute-care certification.


The Lead APP of the Donor Care Center will provide direct oversight of the APP Donor Care Center positions. The Lead APP will be responsible for hiring and onboarding all APPs to the Donor Care Center Policies and Procedures. In this role, the Lead APP will collaborate with the ICU Medical Director and RN Manager to provide day to day leadership and oversight of the clinical operations as well as partner directly with Gift of Hope to ensure the best possible outcomes and processes for donors transferred to Rush. The Lead APP, Donor Care Center will also play a key role in the design and development of processes for this new endeavor and will also evolve with the Donor Care Center to continuously improve its processes and partnership with Gift of Hope after the establishment of the center.


The Lead APP Donor Care Center is also responsible for schedule creation and management to ensure 24/7 coverage of the Donor Care Unit.
