The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, at Rush University Medical Center is currently recruiting for a board-certified/board-eligible Endocrinologist to join its growing team.

The successful candidate will become a faculty member in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Endocrinology and may staff new Rush satellite clinics in the greater Chicago area in addition to main campus activities. The practice includes outpatient clinics and a busy inpatient consult service including a fracture liaison service, a nurse practitioner led inpatient diabetes team, support staff including nursing, diabetes educator/nutrition and administrative support staff. The Division conducts basic and clinical research, and is dedicated to extensive teaching efforts for its students, residents and fellows. The fellowship program is a collaboration between Rush and neighboring John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County.

Qualified applicants must have demonstrated excellent qualifications in clinical care and education. Experience with calcium management and thyroid biopsy is preferred. Candidates must be MD/DO physician trained and be board certified or board eligible in Endocrinology. This position offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits and an academic appointment commensurate with experience.
