Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution, and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges, invites applications for a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon to be based at Rockford, Illinois.  Qualified candidates should be Board Eligible or Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and have ideally completed a fellowship in hand and/or microsurgery. The selected candidate will play a key role in developing head to toe reconstructive surgery in Rockford, Illinois, focusing on traumatic craniofacial and extremity reconstruction. Ample opportunities also exist to develop breast reconstructive surgery, post Mohs reconstructive surgery, and aesthetic surgery.  Candidates should be eligible for a faculty appointment at the Assistant Professor level or above.
