The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at Rush University Medical Center is seeking to recruit a board-certified/board-eligible faculty for a position at Rush Oak Park Hospital (ROPH). The faculty can be either critical care trained, pulmonary/critical care trained, or pulmonary/critical care/sleep trained. Rush Oak Park Hospital has a 14-bed mixed medical/surgical closed ICU. The qualified candidate will join the current ROPH team to share in the coverage of the hospital’s ICU and critical care needs and if applicable, to further enhance and grow the outpatient practice (in case of applicants who are also pulmonary and/or sleep trained). Patients and providers enjoy on-site pulmonary function testing, cardiopulmonary stress testing, pulmonary rehabilitation, bronchoscopy services and a seven-bed sleep disorders facility. As a major teaching hospital of Rush University System for Health (RUSH), one Rush pulmonary/critical care or critical care fellow rotates at Rush Oak Park ICU/pulmonary consult service every month.
