The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine at Rush University Medical Center seeks a board-certified or eligible pulmonary/critical care physician to join our Division as a clinical faculty. Candidates must have an outstanding record of commitment to clinical service, communication skills, collaborative work style and teaching. Candidates should be eligible for faculty appointment at the Assistant Professor level or higher. In addition to providing outpatient care at Rush Oak Park Hospital, the candidate will be expected to provide inpatient coverage on the pulmonary consult service and the MICU at both Rush University Medical Center (main campus) and Rush Oak Park Hospital.
Rush University Medical Center is a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution, and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges, located in downtown Chicago. The qualified candidate will join the growing team of 30 faculty members and 13 advanced practice providers in the Division. Teaching and supervising medical students, residents and fellows will be an important educational activity as RUSH has an ACGME-accredited Pulm/CC fellowship, a Critical Care fellowship, and a Sleep Medicine fellowship. Candidates must be board-certified/board-eligible in Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine.
