Job Summary
The OSCE Enrichment lead position is a physician educator with an interest or experience in simulation based medical education and assessment, who oversees the ongoing enrichment process associated with the Observed Structured Clinical Exams (OSCE) cases, holds enrichment-related faculty development sessions, provides advice for faculty enirichers, and interfaces with the Behavioral Assessment Manager and Director of Assessment to continue providing high quality enrichment for M3 and M4 students.
Responsibilities and Duties
Complete 200 hours' worth of work in the pre-clerkship curriculum including:
Oversight of Clerkship OSCE Enrichment system
Enricher coaching/how-to sessions (2 per year, 4 faculty attending)
Serve as main/lead enricher; offer 2nd meetings before OSCEs for struggling students
Formulate enrichment plan for the year (ie underperforming early in year or earlier in RMC curriculum)
Attend Sim Team meeting (1st/3rd W 1-230p)
Report/Track struggling students
Follow results of OSCE administrations and be aware of missed items
Work with Faculty Lead for OSCE to determine case revision needs
